SS Thaman is the busiest music composer in Tollywood and also holds the top spot among his peers. During one of his recent interviews, Thaman opened up about his competition with Devi Sri Prasad and also about the Pushpa 2 controversy. He revealed that the Pushpa makers approached him two weeks before the release of sequel to compose background score for the entire film. “I asked them if it was correct to involve in the last minute. But, after watching the rough cut of the film, I was hesitant because of the grand canvas and I promised to give whatever I could do and also also didn’t demand any remuneration”, added Thaman.
Thaman also revealed that Pushpa team asked him to go ahead with his work, but didn’t blame anyone for approaching him to score the soundtrack. He recollected his interaction with Sukumar at that time and also revealed that he texted him about his experience on watching the first part of Pushpa.
“Devi Sri Prasad is a good friend of mine but I never want to snatch his offers. We always maintain a cordial relationship”, added Thaman.
Talking about Game Changer, Thaman assured that the background score will be racy and absorbing. He hailed Shankar’s vision and conviction. He spilled that The Raja Saab promotions will take place in Japan. He also stated that the makers asked him to compose a Japanese version for one of the songs. There will be one solo song, one duet, one special and an introduction song in the film, announced Thaman.
