Thalapathy Vijay’s first pan-India film Leo has created havoc at the worldwide box office and is still continuing its dream run.
This film which has raked more than 600 crores at the box office has surpassed Rajinikanth’s biggest blockbuster Jailer at the ticket window. Leo has emerged as the biggest hit of the calendar year shattering many existing records. As per the latest updates coming from sources close to the team of Leo, it is heard that the makers are contemplating releasing the film again on 100-plus screens across Tamil Nadu. As there are no promising films in the theatres right now, the makers seem to have decided to re-release the film.
The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial went on to become a historical blockbuster not only in Vijay’s career but also in Kollywood. Trisha Krishnan played the female lead and Sanjay Dutt along Arjun Sarja are seen in pivotal roles. Anirudh’s background score is one of the biggest assets of this film. Lalit Kumar has produced this film.
