As we all know, the Kollywood superstar Thalapathy Vijay will bid goodbye to his filmy career with one last film tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy69’.
Touted to be the remake of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari, Thalapathy69 has humongous buzz and hype as this would be the last film in Vijay’s career. The makers have made it clear that the first look poster and the title will be announced on January 26, 2025, marking Republic Day’s occasion. As per the latest updates, this film which was initially scheduled to release to hit the screens on October 2025, has been reportedly postponed to Pongal 2026.
There is no official confirmation regarding this as of now, but we might get more clarity on January 26th. This film also features Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, and others in pivotal roles. H Vinoth helms the direction and Anirudh is on board for the music.
