Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay’s last film, ‘Jana Nayagan,’ is one of the most highly anticipated films. Currently, the film is on the verge of completion. It is reported that Vijay Thalapathy has wrapped up shooting for his final film.
As we already know, the actor-politician is preparing to enter fully into politics; this film marks a significant milestone in his film career. Vijay completed his last day on set on June 2, 2025. This political action drama is already planned for Pongal release, to hit theaters on January 9, 2026.
Also knowing this would be his last day of shooting, the film’s director, H. Vinoth, has reportedly planned a very special scene on the final day of shooting to make it memorable. Reports suggest that Vijay has completed his last shot with a powerful dialogue that was meant to leave a lasting impression, both for audiences and for the actor himself.
In keeping with his humble nature, Vijay requested that no celebrations be held on set. No photos were shared online, and no cake-cutting or fanfare took place. Instead, the actor quietly shared heartfelt moments with the crew and bid farewell to his long and glorious career.
