This Dussehra, three films are going to involve in a box office slugfest. While Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari and Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao are straight Telugu films, Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo will be the only dubbing film that is going to hit the screens during the festival season.
The three-way box office tussle is turning out to be very interesting because all films are carrying heavy expectations. Usually, dubbing films don’t compete with straight films. But, Vijay is throwing a big challenge to both Balakrishna and Ravi Teja.
Lokesh Kanagaraj deliver a solid blockbuster with Vikram. The film punched out solid revenues in Telugu States. Also, Rajinikanth’s recent film Jailer performed exceedingly well here despite the release of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar. So, the market for dubbing films is on an all time high in Tollywood.
Amidst this scenario, the makers of Leo started Telugu promotions on a bang with a new poster in which Vijay appears in a rocking avatar. He looks calm and composed. What is more eye catching about the poster is that they came with a tagline ‘ Keep Calm and Avoid Battle’.
The interesting tagline has now became of topic of discussion among netizens. It remains to be seen if Leo can continue the success streak of dubbing films and throw a big challenge to both NBK and Ravi Teja. Vijay will need to score the biggest hit in his career to ensure profits for all parties involved.
