After scoring career biggest hit with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s gangster drama ‘Leo’, Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay immediately commenced shooting formalities of his next film under the direction of Venkat Prabhu. On the eve of New Year, the makers of this film unveiled the first look poster and revealed the title as well.
Interestingly, the film is titled ‘ The Greatest of All Time’ and it appears to be inspired by the popular abbreviation for ‘GOAT’ which is usually referred to distinguished personalities in various fields like sports with exceptional talent and achievements.
The first look poster has the Leo actor in dual roles with identical costumes. He seems to be playing the role of a father and a son in this film. One character is seen giving a fist bump to the other with a big parachute in the background and a plane is also spotted in the poster.
After Bigil, this is the second time, Vijay is portraying the role of a father and a son. Sources revealed that the story is inspired by the unsolved FBI mystery surrounding one DB Cooper who hijacked a flight during his journey from Poland to Washington and parachuted in the middle after robbing some money from passengers.
GOAT stars Meenakshii Chaudhary as the female lead. Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha and Yogi Babu in prominent roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the tunes for this film.
AGS Production banner is bankrolling the film and it is slated for release in the second half of 2024.
