Hyderabad: The State government implemented a significant reshuffling of top-level bureaucrats, affecting 11 IAS officers. Notable changes include Arvind Kumar, formerly Special Chief Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, who now serves as the Special Chief Secretary for Revenue (Disaster Management). B Venkatesham, Principal Secretary for BC Welfare, has been reassigned to Education, while A Vani Prasad, the former Principal Secretary of the Transport Department, is now Principal Secretary for Environment, Forests, Science, and Technology.
Other key appointments include M Dana Kishore, Managing Director of HMWSSB, taking on the role of Principal Secretary for the Department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development. K S Sreenivas Raju, Secretary to Government for Roads & Buildings, is now Secretary for Transport, Roads, and Buildings. Rahul Bojja, previously Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been reassigned as Secretary for GAD (General Administration Department). Dr Christina Z Chongthu, Commissioner for Commercial Taxes, has transitioned to Secretary for Health and Medical and Family Welfare.
Additionally, Vakati Karuna has been appointed as Secretary to Government and Commissioner for Woman, Child, Disabled, and Senior Citizens Department. RV Karnan, the former Collector and District Magistrate of Nalgonda, now serves as the Director for Health and Family Welfare
