The BJP is gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana, with the release of its first list comprising six candidates. Among them, three sitting MPs have secured tickets, while one sitting MP, Soyam Bapurao, was not included in the initial list by the BJP high command. Telangana has a total of 17 Lok Sabha seats, and the BJP has finalized candidates for six seats in the first list, with considerations underway for the remaining 11 seats. The party seems to have prepared another list featuring two potential candidates for each seat.
Of the six candidates announced, Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay, and Dharmapuri Aravind, all current MPs, have been given another opportunity to contest. Specifically, Kishan Reddy from Secunderabad, Bandi Sanjay from Karimnagar, and Dharmapuri Aravind from Nizamabad are slated for re-election. Additionally, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy from Chevella, Dr. Venkateswara Rao from Khammam, and Boora Narsaiah Goud from Bhuvanagiri have been nominated by the BJP high command.
