Young actor Teja Sajja, who gained pan-India recognition with Hanu-Man, is gearing up for his next superhero venture, Mirai. Following the release of the film’s trailer, social media was flooded with speculation that superstar Mahesh Babu portrayed the character of Ram. Teja Sajja has now addressed the rumors, providing full clarity.
Speaking at a media interaction in Chennai, Teja clarified that there is no truth to the reports linking Mahesh Babu to the film. “The identity of Ram in the trailer was deliberately kept a suspense element. Our intention was to give audiences a unique experience and surprise in theaters,” he said. He also dismissed claims suggesting the use of AI technology for Ram’s character.
Directed by Karthik Ghattamneni, Mirai features Manchu Manoj as the antagonist, with Ritika Nayak playing the female lead and prominent actress Sreya in a key role. Teja, a fan of socio-fantasy stories since childhood, said he enjoys bringing impossible wonders to life on screen. He further explained that the word Mirai signifies “hope for the future.” The film is slated for release on September 12.
