Talented star actress Kangana Ranauth is testing her luck as a full-time director in Hindi with her upcoming political thriller ‘Emergency’. Touted to be the periodic drama set during the Emergency era of the late Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, the movie’s first look teaser and release date are revealed by none other than the brave actress Kangana via her Twitter.
The film ‘Emergency’ teaser showcases the introduction of characters one after the other showcasing the situations and life of India during the enforced ‘Emergency’ in Indira Gandhi’s regime. The darkest times of Indian history post Independence are harnessed by Kangana as she shocked everyone by stepping into the character of none other than Indira Gandhi herself. The teaser ends with the dialogue ‘India is Indira, Indira is India’ which raised a lot of expectations. Apart from the exciting content, the teaser is rich in detailing and production values along with stunning cinematography. All in all, the teaser of Emergency only raised the bar and increased the curiosity of the viewers. Kangana managed to create the much-needed buzz by writing the line ‘A protector or a dictator’ alongside the teaser.
