Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna paired up for an exciting project titled ‘Kubera’. Helmed by Maverick director Sekhar Kammula, the film also stars King Nagarjuna in a pivotal role.
Earlier, the makers revealed first-look posters of Dhanush and Nagarjuna, which garnered tremendous response and generated excitement. Now, adding to the anticipation, the filmmakers unveiled the first look poster and shared a glimpse of her character.
The first look poster showcases Rashmika Mandanna in a pink kurta set, dragging a blue suitcase with an intriguing and tense look on her face. The glimpse reveals her character, showcasing her digging in a desolate forest backdrop and taking a briefcase of money in it with a greedy and happy expression. At the end of the teaser, she was seen carrying the briefcase full of money with happiness.
The film is set against the backdrop of Dharavi in Mumbai, where Dhanush will be seen as a homeless man who later becomes a mafia lord in Mumbai. Nagarjuna is portraying the cop role in this flick. With each character reveal, Shekhar Kammula is showcasing the depth of the roles and igniting the anticipation.
Jointly backed by the esteemed production houses of Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas, the film’s shoot is currently in progress, with the cast recently spotted filming in Mumbai. It also stars Jim Sarbh and Dalip Tahil in key roles.
Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is composing the musical tunes for this flick. Slated for a pan-Indian release, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
