The TDP Politburo has decided to implement three more of the `Super Six’ promises made by the state government by June. They are Thalliki Vandanam, Annadatha Sukhibhava and financial assistance to fishermen during ban on hunting.
The party’s Politburo meeting was held under the chairmanship of TDP chief and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the NTR Bhavan in the TDP office on Friday. Minister K Atchannaidu, along with TDP state president Palla Srinivas, explained the decisions of the meeting to reporters.
They said that the funds for the `ThallikI Vandanam’ will be deposited in the accounts of mothers when schools open and Rs 20,000 will be paid under the Annadata Sukhibhav scheme along with the Rythu Bharosa funds released by the central government. They said that Rs. 20,000 will be provided to fishermen during the hunting ban.
They said that after strengthening the state economically, they will implement the remaining promises including unemployment allowance, girl child fund and free bus travel to women. They said that they have decided to provide the lands of Agrigold Company to the victims of that company.
They said that the pending government nominated posts also will be completed by June. They said that they have appointed chairmens of 80 corporations and 48,000 irrigation societies. They said that they will take action on the restoration of the reduced 10 percent reservation quota for BCs in local bodies.
The Politburo has decided to organize a Mahanadu in Kadapa on May 27, 28 and 29 and there will be a huge public meeting on the 29th. From now on, grievances will be held only on Saturdays at the TDP central office and not on the rest of the days. They have decided that every MLA will hold grievances at the constituency level on Saturdays as well.
The problems that arise there should be presented to the district officials, party office, ministers and in-charge ministers and resolved them. They said that the district in-charge ministers should take steps to resolve these in the DRC meeting.
They said that they have decided to set up a special tribunal to punish those who committed wrongdoings in the previous government. It was also decided to withdraw the cases filed by the previous government against employees, teachers and journalists.
