TDP MLA Ayyanna patrudu almost Finalized as Assembly speaker

Jana Sena, a coalition partner in the Andhra Pradesh government, is likely to secure another significant position. Already well-represented in the cabinet with three ministerial berths, including Pawan Kalyan serving as the Deputy Chief Minister, Jana Sena might soon see one of its leaders appointed to another crucial role. Reports indicate that Chandrababu Naidu is considering handing over the Deputy Speaker position to a Jana Sena leader.

In the 2024 elections, Jana Sena won 21 MLA seats, earning three ministerial berths and the Deputy Chief Minister post. Now, Chandrababu is contemplating awarding the Deputy Speaker position to either Tadepalli MLA Bolisetty Srinivas, Avanigadda MLA Mandali Buddha Prasad, or Lokam Madhavi, whose name surfaced at the last minute. Although there has been much speculation about the Speaker’s position, Ayyannapatrudu appears to be the frontrunner, having reportedly shared this with close associates. The final decision on the Deputy Speaker will be made from among Buddha Prasad, Bolisetty, and Madhavi.
