Senior TDP leader Buddha Venkanna expressed profound devotion to TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu, equating him to a deity in his eyes. He pledged unwavering loyalty to Chandrababu Naidu for as long as he lives, even going as far as to vow to sacrifice every last drop of his blood for him. To demonstrate his commitment, Buddha Venkanna conducted a ritualistic blood offering, performing a blood abhishekam on a cutout of Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday. He collected blood from his own body and used it to anoint the feet of the cutout while chanting slogans of praise such as “CBN zindabad” and “You are my life” on the wall.
Speaking to the media afterward, Buddha Venkanna reiterated his reverence for Chandrababu Naidu, affirming that he considers him his God and asserting his enduring allegiance. Buddha Venkanna also disclosed that he has requested Chandrababu Naidu to nominate him for either the Vijayawada West or Anakapalli constituency in the upcoming assembly elections. He noted the absence of prominent contenders for these seats and emphasized the importance of fielding trusted allies, especially considering the likelihood of coalition governments at both the state and national levels. Regardless of whether he receives a ticket, Buddha Venkanna vowed to continue proclaiming “Jai Chandrababu” and declared his intolerance for any criticism directed towards Chandrababu Naidu.
