TDP-Jana Sena-BJP Alliance: Here are the seat sharing details

An accord has been reached among TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP regarding seat allocation with the shared objective of unseating the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu convened a meeting at Undavalli, lasting nearly eight hours from the afternoon till its conclusion. Attendees included Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan of Jana Sena, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat of BJP, and Baijayant Panda. Discussions revolved around seat adjustment and candidate selection. Following extensive deliberations, the seat-sharing arrangement has been finalized.

In this coalition, Jana Sena and BJP have been allocated 31 assembly seats and 8 parliamentary seats. Jana Sena will contest 21 assembly seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats, while BJP will vie for 10 assembly seats and 6 Lok Sabha seats. TDP, on the other hand, will contend for 144 assembly seats and 17 Lok Sabha seats. Jana Sena had initially declared intentions to contest 24 assembly seats and 3 parliamentary seats, but revised their statement today in light of BJP’s involvement. With seat allocation settled, the focus now shifts to finalizing the list of candidates for the upcoming elections.
