Visakhapatnam: Ganta Srinivasa Rao has urged Chief Minister Jagan to conduct a thorough investigation into the killing of Tehsildar Ramanaiah and ensure severe punishment for the culprits. He expressed concern over such incidents occurring in Visakhapatnam, a previously peaceful area. Rao noted that during Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure, immediate action would have been taken, contrasting it with the current Chief Minister’s lack of a statement.
He alleged potential involvement of government officials in the murder and demanded their punishment. The failure to address land-related mafia murders is instilling fear among people and officials in Visakhapatnam, with the government falling short in protecting its citizens and officials. Additionally, Ganta Srinivasa Rao criticized the government for its inadequate control over the illegal availability of drugs like ganja. He accused the Chief Minister of neglecting protective measures and focusing on other illegal activities. He expressed the opinion that government officials could be responsible for the murder, emphasizing the need for accountability and punishment.
