Tamil superstar Suriya is making his pan-India debut with the upcoming big-budget period drama titled Kanguva. The film marks the first collaboration of Suriya with director Sirutai Siva who is known for dishing out full-fledged mass entertainers. Kanguva has Suriya playing a dual role and the story is set in the backdrop of a tribal region in the prehistoric era.
Putting an end to the long wait, the makers of Kanguva officially announced October 10th as the release date. NTR’s upcoming action saga Devara was initially supposed to hit the screens on the same day. But, it was later preponed to September 27th as Pawan Kalyan’s OG was postponed from that date. Now, Kanguva has occupied Devara slot due to the recent change in the release dates.
From the past few days, there have been numerous rumours that Kanguva might be pushed to 2025 due to lack of proper release dates as many other biggies in Telugu and Tamil are slated for release in the next few months. However, the makers have finally locked the release date.

Kanguva is billed as a raw and rustic entertainer with mind-blowing action sequences. Bobby Deol and Suriya will clash in one of the epic action scene that unspools in the climax episode of the film.
Kanguva is made on a staggering budget by UV Creations and Studio Green.
