The star couple Suriya and Jyothika graced the special screening of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Sarfira’ in Mumbai. The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on July 12. With just two days away from its release, the makers conducted a special screening in Mumbai last night.
The screening was attended by Akshay Kumar, Sudha Kongara, Radhika Madan, and others. Suriya and Jyothika joined the film’s cast and crew and happily posed for photos.
The couple made a glamorous entrance to the screening, where Suriya looked stylish in a white t-shirt layered with a black shirt paired with black trousers, while Jyothika dazzled in a fashionable look in her sky blue co-ord set.
As is known, Sarfira is a landmark film for Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, marking his 150th cinematic venture. It is a remake of Suriya’s blockbuster ‘Soorarai Pottru’, helmed by Sudha Kongara. The film features a special cameo by the original film’s star, Suriya, elevating the anticipation.
Written and directed by National Award winner Sudha Kongara, ‘Sarfira’ is jointly produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment, Jyothika and Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, and Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good.
Apart from Akshay Kumar as the main lead, the film boasts a stellar cast of Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan, Seema Biswas, Sarath Kumar, and others in pivotal roles. Tamil-renowned music composer GV Prakash Kumar is at the helm of music direction.
