The Karnataka government contended that the High Court overlooked critical evidence, including phone call data, financial transactions, and her alleged links with a Nigerian drug peddler. Additional Advocate General Aman Panwar presented these arguments before the Supreme Court, emphasizing that these aspects were not considered during the High Court’s review.
Following the submissions, the Supreme Court issued notices to Sanjjanaa Galrani and other beneficiaries of the High Court’s clean chit and adjourned the hearing. The development marks a significant turn in the ongoing investigation into the alleged drug distribution network in the state.
