However, just days before the release, Superstar Rajinikanth was admitted to the hospital in Chennai on Monday night, causing concern among his fans and well-wishers about his health. The 73-year-old veteran actor was taken to the Apollo hospital in Chennai for an elective procedure.
It is reported that Superstar Rajinikanth was rushed to the Apollo hospital for an elective procedure under the care of interventional cardiologist Dr. Sai Satish. Sources confirmed that the actor’s health is stable, and the procedure will take place in the Cath Lab on Tuesday, October 1.
The reports suggested that Thalaivar will be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday evening. However, an official statement from the hospital and his family members is expected soon.
