Young actor Nithiin was initially to be seen in a project called Power Peta by director Krishna Chaitanya, who had turned from a popular lyricist to a director. People Media Factory was to produce this film, but for some unexpected reasons, the project was kept on hold for a while. Krishna Chaitanya then directed the film Gangs of Godavari with Vishwak Sen.
But Power Peta is now making a big return. It will now be Sundeep Kishan stepping into the male lead role instead of Nithiin. Krishna Chaitanya has provided many versions of the script and infused new energy to this project.
