Tollywood-known filmmaker Sukumar praises the recent blockbuster Dasara by showing his support to the film director and his protege Srikanth Odela. The talented filmmaker who is quite active on social media took to his Instagram handle and appreciated the team of Dasara for their effort and hard work.
Sharing the same, Sukumar wrote- ‘My heart is filled with joy and pride after watching #Dasara. I was taken into the world of Veerlapalli which my dear Srikanth Odela has created. I am swooned by his visual narration. Loved watching Nani surrender himself to the character Dharani. He always surprises me with the nuances in his craft. As we know that Srikanth Odela who is a protege of Sukumar made his directorial debut with the action starrer Dasara. The film features Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Sai Kumar, Samuthirakani, Shamna Kasim, Jhansi and others in key roles.
The film was produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas while cinematography and editing were carried by Sathyan Sooryan and Naveen Nooli respectively.
Set in the backdrop of Singareni Coal Mines near Telangana, Dasara was released on March 30 and has been going strong at the box office ever since. The film already bagged more than Rs. 80 crores worldwide and is running towards Rs. 100 crore club.
