Director SS Rajamouli’s films may bring a lot of cheer to trade circles and help his artists attain pan-India status. But, one worrying factor for the fans of his lead actors is that his films will take unusual time to complete. This is why not all fans like their heroes to work with him.
Prabhas dedicated more than five years to Baahubali. Though he ascended dizzy heights after the massive success, the long wait came as a sort of disappointment for his fans. The same is the case with NTR and Charan who were without a release for more than three years before RRR. The issue is that Rajamouli won’t allow his actors to shoot for other projects even if there is an opportunity to do so.
Now, it is time for Mahesh Babu’s fans to get a taste of Rajamouli’s treatment. Mahesh Babu is all set to commence work on SSMB29 under the direction of Rajamouli. This project was initially supposed to start rolling in 2023. But, it was delayed as the script was not locked until recently.
There were reports that the film will go on floors in Summer this year. However, it is now heard that the start has been pushed to June. As SSMB29 is going to be made as an international film with Hollywood actors and technicians, it won’t be a surprise if Rajamouli takes a minimum of three years to wrap up this time.
There is no doubt that SSMB29 is not going to be released anytime before 2026, given its huge canvas and other aspects, which means that Mahesh fans will have a long wait. They are already sensing it because all pre-production activities have been delayed so far. They are preparing themselves to face the music like fans of NTR, Prabhas and Charan.
One thing they are optimistic is that Mahesh Babu’s image and stardom will exponentially surge with this association. So, they are finding happiness in their worry.
