Visionary director SS Rajamouli who brought fame to Telugu cinema worldwide has opened up about the most talked about the issue of whether or not RRR would be considered for the Oscars. The address of magnum opus declared many things in a recent interview along with the worldwide recognition of RRR.
Post the release of RRR, Rajamouli was seen promoting this movie everywhere he can and he mainly concentrated on North America by giving continuous interviews and going to movie-loving locations by screening the picture. Some jealous makers exclusively from Bollywood tried to project Rajamouli as he was hungry for awards and thus he was lobbying for the Oscars by spending a lot of money.
Finally, the maker of Baahubali opened up on the entire issue of lobbying for the Oscars. He stated that he doesn’t even know how to lobby for awards like Oscar and Bafta as it’s not his cup of tea. He claimed that the worldwide recognition of his movie is making him participate in all the invited programs and promotional events due to their love and support. Rajamouli opined that the Western media wholeheartedly supports RRR and is trying hard for the Oscars, which is a wonderful achievement for Tollywood.
The numero uno director concluded that neither he nor the fans of RRR would do such a campaign intentionally only for the sake of awards because such acts would let down the spirits and love of Telugu movie lovers.
