The leading news outlet Indian Express has released the list of its top 100 Most Powerful Indians of the year and the visionary director SS Rajamouli has appeared for the first time in this list, thanks to the Global success of RRR.
Rajamouli has made a mark in North with the Baahubali series but its the movie RRR which gave him a much needed Global recognition alongside getting an Oscar and a Golden Globe for the song Natu Natu. With due respect to the winners MM Keeravani and lysricist Chandrabose, it is Rajamouli’s vision which brought the award and recognition. This list of top 100 voted by International volunteers made the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Most Powerful Indian occupying the first place followed by his Home Minister Amit Shah and the very famous External Affairs Minister in the third place. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister interestingly bagged the 58th position and Rahul Gandhi shocked all at being 15th place. King Khan Shah Rukh Khan got the 50th rank and Amitabh Bachchan is at 87th place. Among the Cricketers, Virat Kohli secured the 53rd rank in the Indian Express’s list.
