Srikanth Addala taking a brave decision with Peda Kapu-1

After churning out clean-slate family entertainers like Kotha Bangaru Lokam, SVSC, Mukunda, and Brahmothsavam, Srikanth Addala changed his style of filmmaking with Venky’s Narappa. He is now coming up with another mass fare in the form of Peda Kapu-1.

Peda Kapu-1 grabbed the eyeballs because of the intense posters, raw teasers and fiery trailer. There are decent expectations for the film even though it has debutant Virat Karna in the lead role. It is based on village politics in which a commoner raises against oppression and caste divide.

As the intriguing teaser and rustic trailer struck a chord with the audience, there is a strong buzz in trade circles about this film. The makers have decided to take a gamble and screen paid premieres on the day before its release.

Peda Kapu-1 will have premieres on September 28th evening in select cities of Telugu States. This is a brave and bold decision because the talk from these premieres will have a huge impact on the first-day openings.

Miryala Ravinder of Dwaraka Creations is the producer. The film is slated for release on September 29th.
