In a recent development in Srikalahasti, Lady CI Anju Yadav slapped a Jana Sena activist who is protesting against AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Jana Sena activists expressed their displeasure over the comments made by the YSRCP chief against Pawan Kalyan and staged a protest on the roads. They tried to burn the effigies of the Chief Minister and then the situation turned tense.
Despite CI’s warning not to do so, Jana Sena activists proceeded further to burn the effigies as a sign of their protest. As the situation is going out of control, the CI tried to take it in her hands and allegedly slapped a Jana Sena activist. Following this, the Police force moved back the protestors and took some of the key activists, and put them under house arrest. Later they were released after the situation came under control.
Nevertheless, the slogans of Jai Jana Sena and Down Down CM continued on the streets expressing their defiance against the government.
