The upcoming mythological drama Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu in the lead role and directed by Bollywood filmmaker Mukesh Kumar Singh, is scheduled for theatrical release on June 27. With the release date nearing, the film’s team has ramped up promotional activities across platforms.
The film has already generated significant buzz through its posters, songs, teasers, and trailers, which have led to heightened expectations among audiences. Kannappa will also mark the acting debut of Ariyana and Viviana, daughters of Manchu Vishnu and granddaughters of veteran actor Mohan Babu. Their character posters have been officially released by the production team.
As part of the ongoing promotions, the makers have launched a lyrical video featuring the debutants narrating the Sthala Puranam of Srikalahasti. The video has been released in five languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The film also features Rebel Star Prabhas in a special cameo appearance. The ensemble cast includes prominent names such as Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Sarath Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles.
Kannappa is expected to be one of the major multilingual releases of the year, combining mythological storytelling with a star-studded cast.
