Sree Vishnu gets a breather with Samajavaragamana

The rise of Sree Vishnu from doing supporting roles to emerging as a reliable hero for producers is quite phenomenal. He started his career a decade and a half ago with noteworthy side characters in films like Banam, Solo, Prema Ishq Kaadal, Life is Beautiful, etc. With strong meaty roles in Appatlo Okaduvundevadu and Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi, Sree Vishnu cemented his place in Tollywood.

He then tested his luck as a hero with Mental Madilo which yielded mixed results at the box office. The critically acclaimed success of Needi Naadi Oke Katha gave him the confidence to choose performance-oriented roles. But, a proper box office hit has always evaded him. With Samajavaragamana, Sree Vishnu tasted his first commercial success which comes as a big relief. The light-hearted comedy-drama is running with good occupancies. The impressive numbers in the first weekend ensured that all buyers are in the safe zone. It has already emerged as the highest grossing film in his career. Sree Vishnu’s flawless comedy timing turned out to be the biggest selling point for the film.

Samajavaragamana marks a big turning point in Sree Vishnu’s career. He is now looking to consolidate his position in the second tier of heroes in Tollywood. He wants to expand his market by going commercial films. He has got a good number of films lined up for the next couple of years.
