Happening beauty Sree Leela is ruling the roost in Tollywood right now. After her impressive debut with Pelli SandaD, Sree Leela hogged the limelight with her lively act in Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka. She is now the busiest actor with more than half a dozen projects in her kitty. Also, she has a few more offers up for consideration.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz in industry circles is that Sree Leela has been approached for an item song in Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated sequel Pushpa 2 which is currently on floors. It is a known fact that star heroine Samantha set the audience’s pulses racing with her raunchy performance in Oh Antaava Mawa song in the first part of Pushpa. The song emerged as a huge blockbuster and created massive hype for the film beyond Telugu States.
Now, Sukumar wants to cast Sree Leela for an item song in the sequel. However, the Guntur Kaaram girl is hesitant about doing item songs at this point in her career. She is currently on top gear with a bunch of mainstream roles in big-ticket films. So, doing item songs might negatively impact her career. Usually, heroines choose item songs at the fag end of their careers. Hence, Sree Leela is not willing to do a song in Pushpa 2. As of now, she is yet to take a call on the plump offer.
No doubt, Sree Leela will grab the attention at pan-India level if she shares screen space with Allu Arjun. But, it is a risky call for a budding starlet who wants to make a mark as a talented artist.
