Pan-India Superstar Prabhas finally got a breather in the form of Salaar. After tasting back-to-back debacles with Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush, the massive first-week haul of Salaar at the worldwide box office will offer some respite for the Baahubali actor who has been desperately trying to reinstate his stardom with a big hit.
As anticipation for the second part of Salaar keeps building, Prabhas will next gear up for Animal Fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s cop drama Spirit which is expected to commence before the Summer of 2024. Besides shooting for Kalki 2898AD and the untitled comedy caper under Maruthi’s direction, Prabhas will dedicate time to Spirit as Sandeep wants to wrap it up by the end of the year.
It is already a known fact that Prabhas will don the Khakhi uniform for the first time in his two-decade career. Now, it is exclusively heard that the Salaar star will be seen as an angry and irreverent police officer who never cares about the consequences of his actions.
Like Sandeep Reddy’s previous outings, Spirit will be an unapologetic attempt with an intense and fiery character for Prabhas. As Sandeep said earlier, Spirit is going to be more hard-hitting and bigger than Animal.
The Arjun Reddy director is currently busy fine-tuning the script. He has reportedly penned a very bold character with a touch of exaggerated machismo for Prabhas in this film. His mannerisms and body language are going to be a complete departure from what he essayed so far.
The filming of Spirit will commence in Mumbai and it will be shot in major cities across the country.
