Devara: Part 1 has indeed emerged as one of the biggest Tollywood hits of 2024, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Directed by Siva Koratala, the film has been widely praised for its gripping narrative, powerful performances, and stunning visuals. In a post-release interview, when asked about the possibility of a third installment (Devara 3), Siva Koratala promptly dismissed the idea, saying, “I never intended to make this a franchise. My preference is to tell a story within a single film, but the intricate characters and layered narrative of Devara led me to explore a second part.”
Several scenes for the Devara sequel have already been shot, with the remaining portions set to be wrapped up soon. Meanwhile, Jr NTR is currently focused on his other high-profile projects, War 2 and NTR 31, both of which are creating considerable excitement in the industry.
