Actress Shriya Reddy has joined the latest schedule of OG (Original Gangster), the upcoming action drama featuring Pawan Kalyan in the lead and directed by Sujeeth. The film’s shoot, which resumed in Hyderabad after a long break, also stars Priyanka Mohan as the female lead.
On Monday, Shriya Reddy participated in the shoot and expressed her excitement about returning to the sets. “Back on the sets of OG! It’s an honour to work with Sujeeth and such an exceptional team again,” she said. “I’m especially looking forward to working with him (referring to Pawan Kalyan). This is a remarkable experience, and I feel grateful to be portraying a role with such depth.”
Shriya, who earned widespread praise for her performance as Radha Rama in Salaar, will be seen in a significant role in OG as well.
Reflecting on her connection with the city, she added, “Hyderabad has always felt like a second home. Many of my closest friends live here. Though I’m not much of a foodie, I do enjoy some of the local flavours. I’m also looking forward to exploring the city’s new restaurants.”
OG, described as a stylish action film with strong emotional undercurrents, has been generating significant anticipation due to Pawan Kalyan’s lead role and Sujeeth’s distinct directorial style. The current schedule involves the filming of key sequences.
