Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly sustained an injury during the filming of his upcoming action drama King. According to media reports, the actor was hurt while performing a stunt sequence without a body double. The nature of the injury is said to be muscular and not serious, though full details are yet to be confirmed.
Following the incident, Shah Rukh Khan and his team reportedly travelled to the United States for medical attention. In light of the injury, the ongoing shooting schedule has been temporarily halted, with production expected to resume in September.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, King stars Shah Rukh Khan alongside his daughter Suhana Khan in lead roles. Actress Rani Mukerji is also expected to play a pivotal role as Suhana’s mother. Official confirmation of the cast and production updates are expected soon.
