Critically acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Sekhar Kammula is well known for narrating sensible scripts in a no-nonsense manner. He is returning after taking a considerable gap since his last outing ‘Love Story’ with a multi-starrer featuring Akkineni Nagarjuna and Dhanush in lead roles.
After an extensive pre-production phase, the regular shooting of this untitled film, which is tentatively called #DNS( Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Sekhar Kammula), started rolling in Hyderabad today morning. The makers of this film announced that a formal pooja ceremony was held and subsequently the regular shooting got underway.
Reports suggest that Sekhar Kammula is going to join the pan-India bandwagon with this film as the story will cut across different sections of moviegoers all over the country. It is touted to be a powerful social drama that has the potential to resonate with pan-India audiences. It will be released in different languages.
After dabbling with genres that reflect the regional flavour and Telugu nativity, Sekhar Kammula will narrate a gripping story laced with intense elements and relevant social issues.
Dhanush is currently shooting some key scenes for this film. Nagarjuna will soon join the team to commence his portion. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead.
Sunil Narang and Pushkar Ram Mohan will jointly bankroll the film.
