Samantha Ruth Prabhu who is quite active on social media shared a cryptic post earlier today. As her recent release, Shaakuntalam has failed to impress the audience, Samantha took to her Instagram handle and shared a pic along with a caption.
What caught our attention is that the caption the Yashoda actress shared is a popular sloka from Bhagavat Gita that explains performing your actions but not expecting anything in return.
Sharing the Pic, Samantha wrote- ‘Karmanye vadhika raste, Ma phaleshu kadachana. Ma karma phala he tur bhuh, Ma te sangotsva karmani.’ The quote translates as- ‘You have a right to action alone, never to its fruit. Your motivation should not be the fruit of action nor should you be attached to inaction.’
Netizens claim that the Jaanu actress is indirectly talking about the failure of her mythological starrer Shaakuntalam. Meanwhile, from the picture, we can see Samantha Ruth Prabhu seated in a car next and appears to be lost in her own thoughts.
As we know that Gunasekhar’s directorial which was released last week has tanked at the box office. Tollywood production house Guna Teamworks and Sri Venkateswara Creations jointly invested more than Rs. 60 crores for the film.
Despite the stellar cast with Samantha, Dev Mohan, Gautami, Allu Arha, Mohan Babu and others, Shaakuntalam failed to mint numbers at the box office and emerged as a commercial failure.
