Preparations are underway for the 24th biennial convention of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA), scheduled to be held from July 3 to 5 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Detroit suburb. The event is set to feature popular actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu as a special guest, marking her first-ever appearance at a TANA gathering. Organisers are gearing up to make the cultural festivities more vibrant in light of her confirmed participation.
The prestigious convention will witness attendance from Telugu-origin individuals across the United States, as well as dignitaries from political, business, and film sectors from India and the US. This also marks Samantha’s debut at any major Telugu diaspora event abroad. Known for her successful acting career and recent foray into film production, Samantha was last seen backing the film Shubham. Her direct interaction with fans at TANA 2024 is generating considerable buzz within the community.
