Tollywood ex-couple Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya’s first film together Ye Maaya Chesave completed 13 years today. The romantic starrer which directed by the south popular filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon has completed 13 years in the film industry.
Celebrating this mark, the lead pair of the film Samatha and Naga Chaitanya took to their social media handles and remembered the film. While posting a picture, the Yashoda actress wrote- ’13 YEARS OF JESSIE #YEMAAYACHESAVE.’
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya dropped a picture from the film along with a caption as – ‘Throwback! #13yearsofyemaayachesave.’ While uploading another poster, Naga Chaitanya wrote- ‘Celebrating 13 years.’
It is known that Ye Maaya Chesave is the first film together by the now estranged couple. The duo met on the film sets and fell in love with each other. The film emerged as one of the cult classics for its epic storyline, brilliant direction, sizzling on-screen chemistry and whatnot.
Apart from YMC, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha also acted in Manam, Auto Nagar Surya, Majili and Oh Baby. After dating for a long time, the much-loved celebrity couple of Tollywood tied the knot in a grand ceremony in 2017. Later the duo parted ways due in 2021 leaving many of the netizens and the Chay-Sam fans heartbroken.
Meanwhile, Samantha is currently busy with her future projects including Kushi, Shaakuntalam and Citadel, which is the Indian adaption of the international series under the same title.
On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya is all set to entertain the audience with his next Custody under Venkat Prabhu’s direction.
