Samantha Ruth Prabhu has expressed deep gratitude and thanked the many renowned South stars such as Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Nani, Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Vijay Deverakonda, and many others for their unwavering support after Telangana Minister Konda Surekha’s controversial comments about her divorce with actor Naga Chaitanya.
The actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming spy action thriller adventure series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, helmed by Raj & DK, where she shares the screen with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan. In a recent interview with Galatta, Samantha Ruth Prabhu expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming response and support she received from prominent actors and the entire film fraternity during her challenging times.
When the interviewer asked about the backing she received from the South industry when the hate was thrown at her, Samantha responded, “I appreciate it and I recognize it. The reason why I’m sitting here is because this group of people didn’t give up on me. It is their love and their faith in me that have made me come out of this situation.”
She also further added, “I would have succumbed to my situation. I wouldn’t have had anything to fight for to come back up, and it’s because of the faith of the people I am sitting here today. And I’m very aware and appreciative of love and support.”
