Salaar team keeps Christmas releases on edge

After spoiling the party of many notable films that were supposed to release in September and October, the makers of Salaar seem to have now put Christmas releases in different languages on edge with their fresh plans.

According to the ongoing speculations, Salaar team is now aiming to release the film on December 22nd to take advantage of the Christmas holiday. It is a known fact that the film was initially supposed to hit the screens on September 28th. However, it was postponed indefinitely due to some production delays. Some say that Neel is not happy with the VFX effects. There is also a talk that the climax episode didn’t shape out as envisioned by the director. So, he is taking his time to enhance the output.

Though an official announcement about the new date is yet to be out, there is a strong buzz that Salaar team is planning to occupy the Christmas slot. The team is likely to make a formal statement about the new date in a couple of days.

If Salaar arrives in December, we might see another reshuffle in release dates of Telugu films like Saindhav, Hi Nanna, Extra Ordinary Man. Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki has already locked its release date. So, it is unclear whether these films will release as per their schedule or not.

Salaar is carrying massive expectations and will require strong openings to recoup its investment. Hence, it will need a solo release at the box office. Everyone is waiting for clarification from the team.
