Salaar off to a sensational start in USA

The release date is still one month to go. The trailer is yet to be unveiled. The promotional campaign has not yet begun. But, nothing can stop Prabhas’ highly anticipated action saga ‘Salaar’ from taking a massive start at the box office. Particularly in North America, Salaar is likely to embark on a record-smashing opening as the hype among the Indian diaspora appears to be unprecedented in recent times for a Telugu film.

Even one month before its release, Salaar started hunting box office records with its pre-sales. Immediately after the launch of ticket bookings, the Prashanth Neel directional started registering tremendous numbers in all locations. The pre-sales have touched the $ 100K mark within a few hours after the start of bookings. This is a terrific start as per trade estimates.

Going by the current trend, Salaar is likely to shatter many existing records in North America with its premieres. The trailer is expected to be out in a couple of weeks and it is likely to heighten the anticipation among audience and trade circles. Box Office experts believe that $ 1.5 million gross from premieres looks like a cakewalk from here.

Salaar is going to have a record release in North America. Prathyangira Cinemas is making sure that the film gets one of the biggest releases for an Indian film ever. The film will release in IMAX format in many locations.
