Amaravati: Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, advisor to the state government, responded to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s challenge directed at AP CM YS Jagan. Reddy asserted that Chandrababu Naidu, who failed to enumerate his accomplishments during his five-year tenure, lacks the credibility to challenge a sitting leader like Jagan. He accused Naidu of resorting to baseless challenges due to the absence of any prospects of victory. He emphasized that the YSRCP focuses on engaging with the people, highlighting the corruption and disorder prevalent during Naidu’s regime while showcasing the party’s governance achievements.
He questioned Naidu’s integrity, alleging a lack of truthfulness in his statements and referencing past incidents involving Chandrababu Naidu’s adopted son’s departure from the party. He defended the YSRCP’s track record, stating their governance surpasses Chandrababu’s administration’s performance during 2014-2019. In conclusion, Reddy dismissed Chandrababu’s criticisms as mere insults, asserting Jagan’s confidence in democratic principles and the electorate’s judgment. He characterized Chadrababu’s challenges as irrelevant in the face of the people’s ultimate decision-making power.
