AP Government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy criticized Chandrababu’s recent visit to Delhi, particularly his meeting with Amit Shah as TDP president. Sajjala pointed out the contrast between Chandrababu’s actions and CM Jagan’s meetings with the Prime Minister, emphasizing Jagan’s position as the CM. He accused the TDP of lacking strength in forming alliances and suggested that if they were strong enough, they wouldn’t need to pursue alliances. He also commented on a survey conducted by India Today in collaboration with C Voter, noting previous surveys favoring the TDP and implying skepticism regarding their accuracy.
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy further criticized Chandrababu’s apparent oscillation in relations with the BJP, highlighting the irony of his meetings despite previous criticisms. He suggested that the BJP’s engagement with Chandrababu might reflect a lack of alternative options. Reddy affirmed CM Jagan’s forthcoming discussion of state government issues with the Prime Minister in Delhi.
Regarding the TDP’s potential nomination for the Rajya Sabha, Reddy questioned their ability to secure a win, particularly if there is a significant disparity in strength compared to the ruling party. He deemed it unethical for the TDP to consider fielding a candidate in such circumstances. He alleged that YS Sharmila dancing to the tunes of Chandrababu Naidu.
