Amaravati: AP state government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy addressed the stone attack incident on YS Jagan, raising suspicions about the force behind the attack. “It appears the stone may not have been thrown by hand; it could have been propelled, possibly from an air gun,” he speculated. He expressed grave concern, noting that a slight deviation in the stone’s trajectory could have been fatal or resulted in permanent loss of vision.
While some labeled the attack an attempted murder, others, particularly TDP leaders, dismissed it as a staged event, with certain media outlets criticizing it as a failure of security measures. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, visibly irked, questioned the sincerity of such criticisms, implying they were trivializing a serious matter.
Furthermore, Sajjala criticized the TDP for their disarray, attributing it to CM Jagan’s recent bus tour which had apparently unnerved Chandrababu Naidu, prompting him to make inflammatory remarks. He referenced Daggubati Venkateswara Rao’s book, suggesting it contained insights into Chandrababu’s tendency to incite unrest.
