RS Praveen Kumar, former BSP state president, along with a few ex-party associates, officially joined the BRS in the presence of TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao at his Erravalli farmhouse on Monday. Praveen, addressing the media, disclosed that CM A Revanth Reddy had cautioned him “gently” against joining the BRS and even offered him the TSPSC chairman’s position, which he declined. Praveen defended his decision, asserting his right to make political choices independently. He urged CM KCR to abstain from issuing such warnings, highlighting their shared roots in the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district.
