Hyderabad: Telangana politics witnessed another significant development as BSP state president RS Praveen Kumar tendered his resignation from the party, signaling his imminent shift to the BRS. Praveen held a meeting with KCR today, during which he expressed his need to navigate through the changing circumstances. Notably, BSP had recently formed an alliance with BRS for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, and Praveen’s resignation from BSP swiftly followed suit. He is slated to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Nagarkurnool constituency on a BRS ticket.

Praveen Kumar emphasized that his decision to depart from BSP was not taken lightly and was motivated by a desire to shield the party from any adverse effects stemming from his leadership decisions in Telangana. He stressed the importance of persevering through challenges and shared, “Regardless of the obstacles we face, we must continue to progress. True righteousness lies in facing difficulties together, a principle I firmly uphold.”
