Indian Movie Industry’s favorite choice ‘RRR which was expected to bag the ‘Best Motion Picture’ in ‘Non-English Categories’ award at any cost for the directorial brilliance of SS Rajamouli has disappointed all the movie lovers by losing the award to an Argentinian film ‘Argentina, 1985’.

The visual spectacle RRR got nominated alongside Korean Drama, A German war drama, and an Argentinian movie in the Golden Globe Award but unfortunately, it got lost to the movie Argentina, 1985. This Argentinian movie revolves around the real-life incidents that took place in the era of 1980s when the Trail of the Juntas made a sensation in the Latin American continent followed by the prosecution of its ring leaders that lasted through the Civil-Argentinian dictatorship to free the country. The movie got all the necessary elements to impress the jury and finally beat RRR to get the award.

Even though RRR bagged the award for the ‘Best Original Score’ for Natu Natu, losing in the motion picture category is indeed a bad piece of news because many pinned hopes on it more than any category. However, people are still optimistic about the upcoming ‘Oscars’ so that RRR would bag at least one category.
