Hyderabad: Revanth Reddy has alleged that certain electricity workers, appointed under the previous administration, are intentionally causing power disruptions to tarnish the reputation of the Congress-led government. He issued a stern warning, stating that stringent measures would be taken against those found engaging in such misconduct. He emphasized that except for technical issues and natural occurrences, any unwarranted power cuts would result in consequences for the responsible officials and staff.
Asserting the adequacy of current power supply in the state, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy refuted claims of widespread power cuts, attributing any such misinformation to malicious propaganda. He urged electricity department officials to combat these false narratives effectively. Revanth Reddy directed that any planned power outages for maintenance should be communicated beforehand through respective sub-stations. He mandated a review of any power interruptions exceeding five minutes in duration.
