Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has challenged former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to hold a discussion on Krishna waters at his Erravalli farmhouse without any hassle. He also announced that he was ready to come to Erravalli farmhouse. He said that KCR is much senior than him and he has no qualms about going to him.
He also announced that if KCR wants him to come, he will definitely go. Revanth explained that KCR should fix a date for the farmhouse meeting. Revanth said that he will not come to the clubs and clubs as KTR asked, and that he has been away from them from the beginning.
“Come to the assembly and let’s discuss. Or come to Erravalli farmhouse and hold a mock assembly there and discuss. I am also ready to come to Erravalli farmhouse,” he challenged the BRS leaders.
He recalled that KCR had previously said that there were no basins or disputes, that 3,000 TMCs were flowing into the sea in Godavari, that water could be diverted to Godavari, Krishna and Penna basins, and that KCR had said that Rayalaseema would be made a jewel of the region.
Revanth Reddy also criticized that KCR helped former AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy by giving instructions, tenders and GOs, and cautioned that any kind of such association between KCR and Jagan would be a huge loss for Telangana. He made it clear that he had no objection to increasing the association between the two, but no one had given KCR the authority to write a death warrant for the people of Telangana.
He said that if the previous government had argued, they would have achieved drinking water for Hyderabad, that drinking water for Hyderabad should be separated from the common quota, and that it would have been better if the remaining water had been distributed to the catchment areas.
CM Revanth Reddy once again alleged that Telangana had suffered losses due to the decisions taken by the BRS government. He reminded that the real situation was put before the Center through reports and that Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy had explained the report with facts.
