Renu Desai has finally spoken out about the recent buzz surrounding her son Akira Nandan joining the film industry. During a recent podcast interview, Renu spoke on the rumors surrounding Akira in relation to his father Pawan Kalyan’s highly awaited film, They Call Him OG.
Responding to the buzz with a lighthearted smile, Renu firmly denied the rumors.
“Akira is not involved in any film. I actually laughed when I came across the article and shared it with him. He laughed too and told me not to forward such news to him again,” she said.
Renu made clear that Akira is currently occupied with other personal objectives and has no intention of venturing into the film industry anytime soon. Contrary to common presumptions, she insisted that her son is not getting ready for a debut or making acting a career at this point.
She also took a moment to address another rumor doing the rounds — the claim that actor Ram Charan is mentoring Akira for a future in cinema. Brushing aside the speculation, she explained,
“Yes, I do stay in touch with Charan, but there’s absolutely no truth to the idea that he’s grooming Akira. My son is concentrating on something else right now.”
With her candid responses, Renu Desai has put an end to all speculations, confirming that Akira Nandan is not part of OG or any other film project. For now, the young star kid is charting his own path away from the silver screen.
